Abstract

The project director studied a new alternative method to educate and train believers in local churches with the focus of Forsyth Korean Baptist Church, Cumming, Georgia. It has become difficult time for believers living in a rapidly changing society to gather in a church for the Bible study and spiritual education. As the age, occupation, and residence of believers have become more diverse, each person has a different time to be trained and educated in the church. Accordingly, a new method of education and training is required in the church.The e-Learning teaching method, which has become new teaching method, is well known and useful in general education. However, the e-Learning education and training method in local churches are not yet common. This is not only due to a lack of understanding of the approach for e-Learning education and training methods but also due to an absence of the implementation manual for application.The project director aimed to help understand e-Learning and to study the e-Learning education methods and a blended learning to solve practical problems needed for application. Based on the content defined in the research, the project director developed an e-Learning manual to build up discipleship training for believers of Forsyth Korean Baptist Church.
