Abstract
  • This project will look at how the church experiences a cross-cultural/cross-racial appointment. I will also investigate the issues and problems raised in cross-cultural/cross-racial appointments. I will suggest a mutually working model for effective ministry in these appointments. I plan to present this project ot the Bishops and Cabinets of the IGRAC and West Virginia Annual Conferences with the hope that it will be used as a guide in effectively making cross-cultural/cross-racial appointments. I will use the pro-active research method because it intentionally engages in qualitative research while working toward transformation.
