Abstract
  • In the ministry project described in this report, the project director, who has been the pastor of Spring Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Montevallo, Alabama, for six years, trained a group of adults within the church to teach children Christian character. The project director led a series of eight workshop sessions over a period of four months that had as its intention to equip the adult participants with the understanding of specific character qualities, and how to teach children to make these qualities a part of their lives. One character quality per month was studied: attentiveness, obedience, responsibility, and orderliness.
