Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to determine the personal and professional needs of the pastors of the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec (BCOQ), how these needs vary according to demographic factors, and the role of the area ministers in addressing them. The research methodology was guided interviews in the Norontario area of the BCOQ and questionnaires in the Hermosa area. The number one single priority need in almost every demographic category was personal spiritual development. The primary role of the area minister in addressing the needs of the pastors was viewed to be a pastor to the pastors.
