Abstract
  • That churches both should and can reach upwardly mobile married young adults in the decade of the 90s is the premise of this ministry research project. The author proves the scriptual validity for church outreach to the upwardly mobile and then explains how a nine-member task force of young adults developed an outreach ministry to this segment in its community through their Sunday School department. Included is a sociological and psychological study of upwardly mobile baby boomers and the types of churches that successfully reach them. The research demonstrates the difficulty most churches have in reaching this group.
