Abstract
  • This project develops a theology and theory of the church and its revitalization based on involving laity in ministry. It was also an attempt to revitalize a local Solomon Islands church by helping it to assess its needs and then design and implement its own objectives and change process. During the project, significant growth took place in the health and witness of the church. Methods of assessment included the author's own Church Ministries Survey. A number of observations and recommendations are made regarding how the thesis and theological foundations of this project can become a reality in the Church.
