Abstract
  • The main purpose of this research was to answer the question of how to develop a training program that would enable laypersons to become more involved in ministry. This meant providing tools to assist people to envision the nature and function of the church and then to formulate a plan to assist believers in increased participation in the ministry of the church in the power of the Holy Spirit. Twenty-eight members attended the two-day training session. The result was that participants recognized the need and committed to more personal involvement in ministry. The concept can be universally applied.
