The purpose of this project in ministry was to develop a pastoral care strategy for the multi-site ministry of Second Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. Selected members of the Second Baptist Church pastoral staff were enlisted to serve on a strategy development team. The project director instructed the team in basic principles of strategy development and informed the team of various multi-site pastoral staff methodologies. The project director led the team to develop a formal strategy for Second Baptist Church of Houston, Texas, considering its multi-site context. The strategy was presented to the executive staff of Second Baptist Church for consideration.
