  • This project focused on the relationship between parents and young adults (18-25 yrs) who live in the same household. It concentrated on the way situations of conflict are handled within those relationships. A context was created in which four family groups could examine their relationship and analyze their interactions and the effect their behavior had on family life. Participants engaged in a variety of experiences over seven sessions while using such analytical tools as the Thomas-Kihlmann Conflict Mode instrument. Both parents and young adults reported positive changes in their relationships at home as a result of their participation in the project.
