- The purpose of this research was twofold: 1) to isolate the four personality traits of well-being, social potency, achievement, and social closeness; and 2) to determine what, if any, relationship existed between these personality traits and an individual's ability to continue in a disciple-making ministry. The null hypothesis stated that there will be no significant differences in selected personality traits between people who continue in a disciple-making ministry and people who do not. The method involved administering a biographical data sheet, a twenty-question religiosity survey and the multidimensional personality questionnaire to a sample group of 120 individuals who had been involved in disciple-making ministry. The mean scores of the sample group were compared with the general population mean scores. The result of the research indicated the null hypothesis was true.
