  • Over the past 75 years, the church in Cameroon, West Africa, experienced phenomenal growth. Dedicated Cameroonians sacrificed their lives for the sole purpose of the expansion of the gospel. Very often they are forgotten in the shadows of the missionary. This study focuses attention on the life and ministry of five dynamic Cameroonian evangelists who took the gospel from the coast of Cameroon back to their homes in the interior of the country. Historical and anthropological methods of research are used to secure information. The majority of information was available from secondary sources. This study enumerates ten strategies of evangelism implemented by the evangelists and supported by Scripture. These can be condensed into three indispensable techniques for ongoing church growth.
