  • The purpose of this project was to develop a marketing plan for Mount Vernon Baptist Church that would include the elements of product, placement, and promotion to develop an ethical and effective method of reaching the community. The biblical foundations for this project were found in the book of Acts generally, and in Acts 13:16-41 and Acts 17:16-34 specifically. A clustering instrument was utilized to isolate placement. Focus group interviews and surveys were implemented to define product and promotion. Marketing was considered an ethical and effective method of reaching a church community for Christ.
