- The purpose of this project was to develop a strategy for the assimilation of new members into Gloster Baptist Church, Gloster, Louisiana. Project components included exploring selected new member assimilation strategies and component resources, strategy development through a discipleship training leadership team of the church, and the presentation of a strategy to the church for adoption. The project director guided the strategy development process by selecting and utilizing a team of leaders from the discipleship training program who collaborated in developing the plan. The completed strategy plan was presented to the church body for adoption as part of the disciple-making processes for all new members of Gloster Baptist Church. Implementation was beyond the scope of the project.
