Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to develop a program to teach Baptist history and doctrine to selected Sunday School teachers of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Twenty-one teachers participated in the thirteen-week course of study. Evaluation exercises were used throughout the course. The tools for evaluation included the following exercises: question and answer activities, discussion groups, evaluation forms, and a post-test. Specific goals of the project included achieving educational consistency, developing congregational unity, and promoting denominational loyalty This project resulted in teachers gaining a greater understanding and appreciation of their Baptist heritage.
