- This study looks at team ministry as a viable model for ministry and a workable alternative to a hierarchical model. The Youth Corps (Toronto, Canada) experience was chosen as an existing operational vehicle for the research. As a qualitative study, the bias was lessened by asking predetermined questions to former team members of Youth Corps. The results demonstrated that the team model is an effective approach to ministry. It challenges people to work within a meaningful vision, to respond to action, and to an awareness of every person's leadership role. The study concludes that team ministry is a viable model and that the beneficial applications of such a team approach are limitless.
