- Utilizing a theory of organizational development called 'Appreciative Inquiry,' this project explores the ways a 'relational process of inquiry' might complement the work of a Moravian ministry group in the context of a provincial Synod, the highest constitutional body of the Moravian Church in America. This narrative study tells the story of the work of a visioning ministry group in the days prior to and during the 2006 Synod. Looking at the events of this Synod with an 'appreciative eye,' the group discovers the power of individual stories while creating a vision of what the church could be.
