Abstracto

This project addresses the church's lack of skill in imagining and strategizing about the future of the church and its environment. The project brings together theology and futurology in order to cultivate within the church attitudes and skills for effectively living and ministering in the future. The project is an educational unit applicable to any local church setting. The report compares theological and futurist understandings of the future, presents the futurist technique of scenario construction, describes the education unit, and provides evaluations and recommendations for its use.
