  • This project explored the correlation between faith and wellness. The effect of positive faith on physical, mental, and spiritual wellness was tested. Verbal and written responses of a group of twenty volunteers from the First United Methodist Church of Monahans, Texas to a series of sermons and positive coaching was the basis of this study. The participants ranged in age from seventeen to seventy five. The results showed that a majority of the participants registered healthier vital signs at the end of the study, and one hundred percent of the participants expressed a higher level of faith and personal well-being.
