Abstracto

The purpose of this project was to develop and implement an equipping model to provide selected men at Suburban Baptist Church, East New Orleans, Louisiana, with the necessary skills to implement a youth mentoring ministry. The project director researched the field of mentoring, identified the best practices, and developed a six-session workshop to train the selected men. At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants were equipped with core mentoring skills needed to implement the mentoring ministry and help the youth of Suburban Baptist Church develop the necessary life skills to become productive, civic-minded members of society.
