Abstracto

The purpose of the project was to discover the similarities of signs, symptoms, and stories of congregations with low self-esteem in the Michigan Conference of Congregational Christian Churches. Through guided interviews and assessment grids, I have discovered that churches, even older churches, may see God working through them as they examine their stories. By sharing these stories and recognizing their signs and symptoms, they can come a better understanding of themselves, their identity, and their mission. In that, they can discover higher self-esteem, a first step to restoring a congregation to good health.
