Abstrait

The thesis of the proposed strategy was that discipleship would produce church growth. A discipleship strategy was implemented at Calhoun Baptist Church with the objective of producing quantitative and qualitative growth. A biblical model, as well as scriptural instructions concerning the development of disciples as a means of producing growth supported the cultural background and sociological trends affecting the performance of the strategy. The methods and procedures for the implementation of the strategy were outlined in the project. An evaluation of the strategy and a formal response for use in other church settings was also included in the work.
