  • The purpose of this project focused on developing a plan for forging effective partnerships with congregations in the work of senior adult care. Research explored population statistics, theological foundations, and care giving issues. A protocol was created for congregational interviews to guide the interaction and provide useful information for effective partnerships to grow. These interviews brought to the surface both issues in senior care ministry and the desire for partnership efforts potentially to ensue. On the basis of the research and interviews, this project resulted in designing a process for ongoing partnership relationships to develop.
