  • The purpose of the project was to develop a Chinese personal evangelism training program. The author selected eight people from the church for training and sought to inculcate within them the need to do personal evangelism. The trainees were required to participate in three field practices: people search visits, street evangelism and home visits. Eight persons also were recruited as members of a control group. They filled out the same questionnaires taken by the trainees before and after training. The evaluation of the trainees and the control group suggested that the project contributed to the changes in the trainees' responses.
