Abstrait

This project examines how a continuing education course on cross-cultural concerns in pastoral grief care is taught to pastors and missionaries. It considers the academic and field research that went into the course, the preparation, teaching, and evaluation of the course, what was learned from the course, and future applications. This work focuses primarily on the grief associated with death. Rather than helping pastors to find the right answers, attention is given to helping pastors ask the right questions in cross-cultural grief care. Answers to these key questions must be found in the cultures that are served.
