Crossing Together new worshipping community embraces the theology of Sam Wells’ emphasis on God “being with” us in Jesus, exploring where God is already moving in participants’ lives. Crossing Together seeks to engage participants according to their spiritual style of Word, Emotion, Symbol, or Action as described by Joyce E. Bellous and David M. Csinos. Crossing Together devised a faith exploration course based on the Being With course, adapting this with image-rich and creation-centred material, thereby enabling a deeper engagement for participants with a dominant Symbol-centred spirituality.
