- Abstract
- The author designed a ministry project to provide a structure to introduce alternative home Bible study, as well as outreach, caring, sharing, assimilation, discipleship, and pastoral care through the small group ministry. The primary strategy for accomplishing the project's purpose was to develop a structure for equipping leaders to conduct and expand small home Bible study groups at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Once the new groups were launched, the author supervised or coached the group leaders and co-leaders as they led three home Bible study groups. This strategy has provided the structure by which these Bible studies will have a multiplying effect throughout the congregation as new groups are formed. It has aided in the development of strong interpersonal relationships and personal and spiritual growth for the author and participants.
