  • Churches have always been comprised of multiple generations, but a lengthening life-span means that churches may now include five generations, each with their own characteristics, values, and voice. This project focuses on how to craft our worship of God so it reflects, honors, and includes multiple generations. This report uses generational theory to explore how the characteristics of various generations gathered as a congregation impact the choices made about the form and content of worship. It offers a survey of relevant literature as well as a plan for using a multigenerational peer group to lead workshops and craft worship services.
