- Abstract
- The author explored newlyweds' concept of home. Results indicate that newlyweds understand home, including a church or spiritual home, to be a place where they can be comfortable, be themselves, find satisfying relationships, have memories and be renewed or find energy. Using descriptive qualitative research methodology, ten interviews were conducted with recently married young couples and a focus group of three couples who were active in church and married three to nine years. The study demonstrates the need for rhythm and healthy oscillation in one's theological and psychological life.
