  • Printing presses have been turning out Children's Bibles for several hundred years. The great majority of them are neither read nor used by children. Part One is an overview of the failure of these efforts, looking at four major considerations: graphic appeal, communication, education, and reader visualization. Part Two presents a fresh translation of the Gospel of Mark from Koine Greek into 'Children's English'. The author offers it as a prototype for what is intended to become a more exhaustive product: a complete Children's Bible that works. Syntactical and exegetical issues are addressed.
