The purpose of this project was to equip selected members of Stetson Baptist Church, DeLand, Florida, in new-member assimilation skills. The project director researched existing strategies of new-member assimilation to determine the skill necessary to be effective in assimilating new members. He developed a curriculum to teach a workshop on the skills and methods of new-member assimilation. Then he equipped a selected group of members of Stetson Baptist Church in new-member assimilation skills.
