- Abstract
- The author developed a six session adult curriculum on the right to life from an Orthodox perspective, He delivered six lectures before an Orthodox audience and concluded with a questionnaire in which participants indicated they are overwhelmingly pro-life and through their course enriched their understanding of Orthodox teaching. After stating the issue, the author elaborated on historical perspectives and biblical and theological insights on abortion. Then he dealt with patristic canons on abortion, representative Protestant, Roman-Catholic and Orthodox views, Roe vs Wade, non-Christian views, related bioethical issues, pastoral considerations and future prospects.
