The first verse in the Bible states, 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth' (Genesis 1:1, NIV). If this statement is true, then both science and scripture reveal God to us. His attributes of love, goodness, reason, and logic are reflected in both. But if there is no God and evolution is true, then neither nature nor the Bible has anything authoritative to say to us about life.
