- Abstract
- Short-term mission experiences present an opportunity to provide for experiential learning focused towards intentional lifestyle change with increased evangelistic habits. This project rests on the foundations of biblical and historical support for short-term mission experiences, as well as insights from the fields of communication, education, and psychology. The short-term mission training modeled reports on one such experience with a group from First Baptist Church, Springtown, Texas traveling to Saltillo, Mexico. The personal experiences of participants and evaluations by selected ministers provided data for evaluation. Evaluation concluded that short-term mission experiences with intentional training do encourage evangelistic habits and church growth.
