Abstracto

This research focused on leadership development methodology. A study of the literature distilled six optimum components of leadership development methodology that have remained constant through time. With the help of an expert panel, the current landscape of leadership training programs for evangelical ministers in North America was described. Four best-practice models were selected and examined in detail for compliance with the optimum components, employing the qualitative research methodology of interviews with leaders and participants. The study provided suggestions that can optimize transformation of leaders in training. Two models are offered; one for young leaders, and one for mid-life persons.
