Abstracto

This project was a ministry tool to bring together spirituality and story in a devotional calendar for United Methodists. The author accomplished this in telling the sustained stories of twelve saints and inviting spiritual practices each day for twelve weeks. In the case studies in three United Methodist congregations, participants engaged the material and answered questions before and after the study. The author determined that more than half of each study group were consistent in using the devotional and benefited in trying new ways of praying as well as encountering compelling stories of the saints.
