- Abstract
- The purpose of this project is to explore the hope of Jesus 'that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.' (John 15:11). This passion for spiritual vitality is a central theme of Christian tradition, and is expressed in many ways: through exhortations, parables, visions, and the movement of the Christian seasons. This project explored the liturgical year from Ash Wednesday to Pentecost to see what wisdom may be found in these seasons for the growth of spiritual vitality in the context of congregational ministry.
