This study provides an historical review of Johnson Bible College's presidential transitions and suggests a model of presidential succession that will ensure continued faithfulness to Ashley S. Johnson's founding mission. The writer reviewed the history of JBC, developed a timeline of critical moments of presidential transition (including documentation of the transition decisions), provided a detailed account of the selection of David Eubanks as JBC's fifth president, provided a bibliographic resource and literature review related to JBC and succession literature, and synthesized the information from the college's history with succession literature principles to form recommendations for the current JBC trustees.
