The project goal was to design and implement enrichment groups for parents of teenagers through the local church, with emphasis on the training and utilization of lay-facilitators, in order to assist parents in developing a more functional family in which emotionally, socially, and spiritually maturing teenagers can most likely be reared. The project was extensively evaluated. The groups facilitated parents' involvement in mutual support, problem-solving, and self-help. Parents involved indicated the experience as beneficial to them and their families.
