  • What is generally called evangelism is, at best, a severely truncated form of evangelism. Radical evangelism is an attempt to recapture a biblical approach to Christian outreach. It is 'radical' in the sense of 'basic.' Part 1 examines three representative biblical passages to provide an exegetical basis for the concept. Part 2 describes the relationship between evangelism and the three biblical forms of 'family.' The conclusion is that to produce the environment in which evangelism may take place the church must recognize and work within these three forms of the family. Part 3 presents a program and a plan for evangelism consistent with radical evangelism.
