  • The purpose of this project was to develop an undergraduate college course in biblical theology. Part one establishes a theoretical background. Chapter 1 states the purpose, justification, and limitations of the project. Chapter 2 gives an historical review of the discipline. Chapter 3 defines biblical theology. Chapter 4 classifies various methodological approaches. A book-by-book approach is proposed. Part two is a practical development of the course. Chapter 5 contains the course objectives, requirements, and outline. Chapter 6 consists of student's study guide questions for each Bible book. Some examples of interpretation of the Pentateuch are given in Chapter 7. Chapter 8 contains summary and conclusions reached in this study and in the teaching of the course.
