- Abstract
- This project proposes that most members of Columbia-Union Presbyterian Church (Columbia, Ky) could and should become more focused and proficient in their practice of the classic spiritual disciplines through a series of eight small-group spiritual formation meetings coupled with a series of six action-reflection Bible studies. As they practice prayer, Bible reading, solitude, silence, listening, and meditation, members of the congregation become renewed, revitalized, and less leader-dependent.
