Abstracto

The podcast is a suitable technological medium for preparing local congregants to receive the preacher's message in their local worshipping assembly. Participants in the podcast project were members of the writer's own parish. The podcasts were specifically produced in relationship to homilies delivered in the local parish church. The project utilized a qualitative method of study taking weekly written survey reactions from participants and face-to-face exit interviews at the project conclusion. Participants were very positive toward the experience and found it enriching. In exit interviews they also offered solid critique for improvement and creative suggestions for future use.
