- The legacy of racism in Richmond, Virginia, continues to affect the lives of African Americans and European Americans, and it often extracts racial wounds. This project proposes a holistic framework that might guide congregations in the work of healing and reconciliation. The report focuses on the relationship of two churches, one Black and one White, and explores the role dialogue plays in the healing journey of reconciliation. Establishing common definitions, telling the truth, doing justice, developing strong leadership, embodying core Christian convictions are integral to this framework.
