Abstrato
  • In his paper the author reviews healing ministries in scripture and church traditions and gives theological foundation for continual healing ministry. He also gives definitions and brief history of pastoral care and counseling and reviews various counseling methods including his son. The author concludes: his method is useful for healing a person with chronic and complex suffering, yet directive approach might be more useful for persons in different situations. Counseling provides healing conditions, yet it is the Holy Spirit that heals; contemporary healing ministries also require faith from persons suffering and/or people around and healers' compassion given from God.
