- Abstract
- The theses of the project are: 1) that inclusivity is central to Reformed faith; 2) this understanding can be appropriated through an intentional study of Reformed inclusivity, church growth principles, and 'winter Texans'; and 3) exposure to who 'winter Texans' are and what their needs are will encourage Treasure Hills Presbyterian Church to follow Reformed inclusivity. The goals were 1) to explore what it means to be Reformed; 2) to understand that inclusivity is in the Reformed tradition; 3) to educate people about the fundamentals of church growth and evangelism; 4) to learn about the 'winter Texans' by reviewing and discussing studies about them, visiting their trailer park communities and talking to and fellowshipping with them; and 5) to encourage the involvement of 'winter Texans' in the Treasure Hills Presbyterian Church.
