Children's ways of engaging with Scripture demonstrate the four adult approaches to meditation identified from Christian devotional literature, therefore adults can learn Scriptural meditation using childlike meditation as a model. The author designed and presented a program using Scriptures identified by the Montessori based Catechesis of the Good Shepherd curriculum as those that draw young children to relationship with God and to meditation. Presentation used and displayed concrete representations children use in extended interaction with Scripture. Participants gained knowledge, equipping, and motivation for meditation, and willingness to support children's Scriptural meditation by providing prepared children's spiritual formation environments in churches.
