  • In the local church, systems influence community and vice versa. The concept and method of ministry the people in the local church employ when they deal with issues of justice and liberation determine that ministry's effectiveness to a significant degree. This project uses an exploratory method wherein a group examines the issue of justice in the book of Amos and analyzes the local church's administrative procedures. The group concludes that inequality and injustice exist in all systems and organizations to some degree in part because these systems are run by people who are fallible creatures.
