Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to develop a study of sound biblical, theological, and psychological rationale for the practice of Christian giving. The results of this study will be presented to key members of the First United Methodist Church of Duncanville, Tex, as the basis for initiating a capital fund raising campaign for a new sanctuary. The project was conducted over a five week period through a series of informal dinner meetings. Individual feedback was encouraged from participants, and constructive suggestions concerning the structure of the campaign were received, analyzed, and incorporated into the plans.
