- The purpose of this project was to equip a select group of members of First Baptist Church of Pontotoc, Mississippi, to implement a seeker-sensitive service. The projected director conducted research through means of an annotated bibliography of recommended books by academicians and from other professionals in the field of church growth ministry. The project director had an expert in the field of curriculum development tutor him in curriculum development and evaluate his lesson plans. Once tutoring had taken place, the project director developed a workshop consisting of six ninety-minute sessions. The project director led these sessions for the selected group of First Baptist Church, Pontotoc, for the purpose of equipping them to implement the seeker-sensitive service. The project director's personal goals included gaining knowledge concerning implementing a seeker-sensitive service and gaining skills related to curriculum development.
