  • This project recognizes many losses older adults struggle with, but also examines how older adults re-frame loss to identify gains. Two groups of ten from a retirement community participated in workshops where they received reading assignments from 'No Wrinkles on the Soul' by Richard Morgan every week for five weeks. Participants took a questionnaire before and took the same questionnaire at the end of five weeks to assess changes in perception of life satisfaction. The emphasis varied by individual, but all participants identified both gains and losses. The study raises questions regarding life satisfaction.
